Donot be fooled by the word *boot* sector, it has less to dowithbooting your PC and more to do with a with your partition. Acorrupt or missing Boot Sector could be a serious problem.Withoutit the partition can not be accessed and your PC would be dead.

Technically, There is an incorrect value in thePartition Boot Record (PBR) on the hard disk. Any computer with amis-match in the number of read/write heads reported by the PartitionBoot Record and the system BIOS will likely report a 'Boot Sector Not Found.'
